She is a molecular biologist, specialized in Medical Biochemistry, obtained at the University of Camerino with honors. Since 2004 she has been a founder member and president of the Board of Directors and Director Responsible for the clinical laboratory of Bioaesis Srl. She has been responsible for more than 20 years of the study of DNA, especially related to the reproductive and non-invasive prenatal diagnosis and cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Dr. Bianchi coordinates a group of professionals and collaborators who have great experience in the field of predictive medicine and molecular biology. She is also involved in forensic medicine - being a consultant for legal practices regarding paternity tests. She is co-inventor of the patent for the industrial invention named "METHOD FOR THE QUANTIFICATION OF GMO IN FOOD", which involves the use of Real Time PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) technique to obtain the quantification of GMO in products for food and feed uses.
Dr. Caterina Trozzi
She is a molecular biologist, PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology. Since 2004 she has been a founding member and CEO of the Bioaesis Srl, responsible for the Food and Feeds Laboratory and Head of Research, Development and Production. She has been dealing for about 20 years with molecular biology, counting on a five-year experience at the Merck Research Centre based in Pomezia (RM) for the development of systems based on the most innovative biology techniques for the study of the molecular mechanism of action of antiviral agents. She also gained experience for the design and development of techniques based on analysis methods that include the use of DNA, and is also co-inventor of the patent for industrial invention named "METHOD FOR THE QUANTIFICATION OF GMO IN FOOD". Throughout the years, Dr. Trozzi was involved in many innovative projects of genetic traceability, in order to unequivocally establish the identity of food and feed products such as cereals and wine; she has also coordinated several research projects both at national and international level to which the Bioaesis has taken part and is still involved in.
